[Hey, take his girlfriend. Not his lunch! Vash hears the clatter of pans over the journals out on whatever trip he was out on and his heart sinks as he hears Meryl's voice join it. He was just on his way home too!] MERYL! [Of course he'll come home way too late to do anything except quietly make sure the stove is off and start to clean up the mess. Not that he gets very far before he is just kneeling on the floor not moving and just cursing the fact that he just can't do anything to get you back.]
