[ Meryl is sitting by the lake with her legs in the water, wearing a sundress to soak in the weather, trying to enjoy it though she doesn't look like she's much enjoying anything. There's a frown on her face, though her grown hair is hiding it much better than it would have a year ago.
Her little shoulders are hunched and she's watching the water without much focus. She doesn't like this hurt, and she doesn't like that the person that she'd come to rely on to help with these problems is gone, and a huge part of the pain she's suffering right now.
She sighs, back heaving with the breath and she presses her lips tight together. Her grey eyes notice a rock beside her and she picks it up, rolling it in her fingers, before she chucks it, hard, at the water.
That didn't feel too bad.
She finds another within reach and throws that one, too, hard and with a grunt in her throat. She starts doing this, repeatedly, with whatever rocks she can reach. A little stress relief... it's something, at least. ]
