Ten Tales: Prologue
Bill could tell tales of Jack Sparrow that would quiet the most rowdy of children, satisfy the most demanding of whores, and silence a whole Tortugan tavern. He could tell tales that would make them shudder, swear, shriek -- and remember.
The tales had no need for embellishment, for what Bill had seen on his travels with Jack were things of myth and legend, things that could not possibly exist. Charmed ships? Dragons? Mermaids? No, they said, it could not possibly be true. Not possibly.
But it was.
