Copying CDs onto my iPod is strangely therapeutic. I've got a rhythm going, yo.
I rarely do this, but it might be the last SPN premiere EVER.
-- Love that demons/angels are on the same frequency, and are equally damaging to humans. Oh, the balance!
-- I wanted to see Dean's fear of planes! I wonder if there'll be a deleted scene? But then maybe the Apocalypse would put your phobias into perspective...
-- Ahaha, CHUCK.
-- I like that Dean learned tricks from Castiel.
-- Yay, scummy, "low rates" motel. That's what I like to see in my SPN landscape.
-- I like that Sam didn't lie RE learning of the hex bags from Ruby. Oh, Sam, you're trying to be truthful! I already love you more than I did last season.
-- The Impala! So shiny! I <3 that we can recognise Bobby by his awful, awful hat. Nice shot.
-- Sam's confession! And Dean's reaction to it! It says A LOT about their relationship at the moment that Dean didn't jump to Sam's defense.
-- What, Bobby's possessed, wtf!!! (There were a lot more exclamation marks than this on my scrap of paper. *g*)
-- The actress who played Meg was great. She got Nicki Aycox's creepy speech patterns down just right.
-- The children's chimes in the bedroom were reminiscent of Pilot in an oh-so-creepy kind of way.
-- "Oh, thank God, the angels are here!" Hee! Oh, Dean and your zero respect for the angels.
-- "Life as an angel condom." Sam twitching in the background caught my attention, because it was blatantly Jared trying not to laugh. Heh.
-- <3 that Dean says no to Zachariah, even when he threatens Sam and Bobby. This is such a development from the last couple of seasons! Dean's not leaping forward to sacrifice himself! Because, honestly, that was getting tiring.
-- Castiel to the rescue! And he calls them "boys", naw.
-- Protection symbols carved into ribs, ouch. I wonder if they'd show up in an x-ray? :D
-- I love the actor who plays Nick.
-- Dean reveals he's got a GED, which means he hasn't got a high school diploma, right? This should probably not be one of my favourite moments in the episode, but it's one of those pre-series details that I didn't realise I was curious about. And it wasn't tackled with a "here-comes-a-revelation" sledgehammer, huzzah.
-- Dean: "...fight to the last man." AHEM. *feminist cough*
-- Dean: "I don't think I can trust you." Followed by the physical space between them in that gorgeous last shot. Sam's childlike, almost-crying-but-not-really was so reminiscent of S1 and S2. I hadn't realised how much I missed our Sam (not the one with the stony frown and the drinking-demon-blood) until right then. OH, SAM. And well very played, Jared.

this open letter to Eric Kripke: "Here’s my point: a richer, fuller, more completely-evoked America with black people and Native Americans and Asians and other people of color (and more women who don’t only exist as sexual objects) would make Supernatural even better."
Please listen, Kripke. Pleasepleaseplease.
