#1 Me too!(but you already know that) #2 Lucky girl #4 Which four countries? #5 Yes, I can attest to that. You are the ultimate fag hag! LOL #6 *iz jealous*
#4 - Jamaica (where I was born), USA (where I currently live), England, and Japan.
I would love to live in Germany for a while. It's on my list of 40 things :-) My maternal grandfather was from Germany and I would love to spend some time exploring that side of my heritage.
I didn't put my hatred of fish in my list 'cause I saw it in yours. LOL
See my #1 about having pics of me taken? Well, I am almost as bad about taking pictures of the places I have visited. LOL I have been to 19 countries and 42 states and I think I may have pictures from 4 or 5 of the countries. I have the stamps in my passports though. :-D
I do take lots of pics of my niece and have scrapbooks for each year of her life. I need to work on making them pretty though. Right now I basically just get the pictures in the books and write a letter to her each month. I am hoping she enjoys reading the letters when she is older as much as I like writing them to her and detailing fun things she did during the months. She is a riot.
Stamps in passports are very important. I'm pretty pleased with mine., even though there are only five stamps from three countries.
I agree about photographing ones self (especially on holiday), I HATE standard tourist shots... "this is me here, this is me there". Pics of kids are very worthwhile though, they grow up sooooooo quick.
Just wanted to let you know I have noted the tag and will get onto completely this pronto!
Also wanted to say that I think it's cool you try to visit at least 2 new countries a year - I have always found travelling to new destinations a rewarding experience, even if I haven't liked the city of country because it always gives me a new perspective of my own lifestyle.
I absolutely agree with you with regard to whether I loved/liked the country I visited or not. There is always something to be learned from each situation you experience in life and that's how I view my trips. Even if I had a horrid time atleast I got to experience a different place and a different culture.
Will you be able to come see us when we are in Sydney or Melbourne?
Will you be able to come see us when we are in Sydney or Melbourne? I'm working on it! But at this stage unfortunately it doesn't look likely. But I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed I can work something out with my boss and a good airfare comes my way.
