Um. Ouch. I've never had stitches either. And those look painful. How did you manage to do both hands??

Glad no real damage was done. And I hope you gave the apple slicer a good telling off :).

I have had it for about 5 years and use it quite often. This time it just came apart in my hands while I was pushing down to slice the apple. A weird, freak accident.

First time getting stitches but won't be last. LOL 3 weeks from now I will certainly have a lot more. :-)

Ahh, that explains the both hands thing. Kitchen gadgets are evol.

I've also never had stitches, and considering how squirmish I am looking at your pic, I don't think I'd fare to well. How are you coping with it?

Do you have to keep it wrapped up when you shower?
