I'm not actually 'GOING' on holiday, rather just 'NOT GOING' to work. But considering how I'm feeling at the moment, that'll do great for me :-)

I never once said that i wouldnt remain friends did i? did it ever occur to you that maybe i just needed some bleedin time.... but no, there you go rushing ahead and doing things your way yet again without considering the other party.....

Whether someone 'is' or 'is not' on an LJ friends list bares absolutely no resemblance to whether or whether not they are considered a friend.

The act of putting someone on an LJ friends list merely means that you are interested in reading their journal. Removing someone from your friends list means that, for what ever reason, you do not wish to read what is written in their journal,...nothing more.
