Like totally. I didn't know me and Kayleen could have such a fun time.
We had never really hung out before, just more of friend\acquaintances, but we got to talking after a long talk with her, Mel and BC about a bunch of stuff (hope it all works out man!).
We talked about like everything, all the stuff that has happened with her in like 2 years, same with me. Blew me away that we could talk that well.
We almost went to Deerlake Grad!! Haha, we saw all the Middle Schoolers coming into the gym and we were like "let's go" but we ended up deciding we were hungry. So we drove!
We ended up at Chick-fil-a! Love that place. Plus it was kid's day so we got free icecream and the sandwhiches were good. Then we made a list of all the restaraunts in Tallahassee (I actually don't know where that list went) and after the amazing ice dream Kayleen was cold so we got to the car and stayed there to gather warmth, then we drove to her studio.
She showed me her art. Wow. It's so awesome, like I didn't know she was that serious about it but we really related in our expression through art. The fact that we can simply take a brush (or in my case a guitar) and let our emotions or thoughts flow through it. It's really nice to have that luxury. Anywho after that and a lot of talking and more laughing (we'd both been laughing so hard our stomachs hurt... about nothing really haha - the best kind!), we just kinda started driving.
We ended up taking Deihl all the way back to Killearney Way and taking Shannon Lakes to the park off the road. No one else was there, so we just started swinging, then we went on the monkey bars, then we went on the slide a bunch, then we conquered the kiddie-swings, then we got on those spring-bouncy things. One of them was a motorcar with a buggy, so naturally Kayleen was in the buggy. :P
We swinged some more, then we kinda just sat on the monkey bars talking about stuff. Just stuff.
After a while, we ran through sunset and all. I think we were at the park for 2 and a half hours. We started talking at the school at 5pm and it was 10pm when we left the park.
We headed back to the school - grad had just finished. I grabbed my car and I agreed to call Kayleen if Thomas Bowers EVER answered his phone.
We should've hung out beFORE she had her last day of school the next day. Well we made the day before the last day last, so it was really fun. We make each other laugh so much it's not funny, well it is. Just a lot. haha.
Ahh, good times. This was a good day.
Good to finally get to know her. :)
