Flying Lesson

Today I had my first flying lesson.  It was in a little 4-seater where the top opened to let you in.  I sat in the pilot's seat and helped with the take off.  It was pretty sweet hearing all the chatter on the radio, though I didn't understand much of it.  I learned about the numbers and letters you see on the runway and how they're basically like

Wow, that's really cool! :) I remember the first time I flew a plane ... totally different than learning to become a pilot. I was just doing it for funsies! But I'm so glad that you had such a good time!!! It sounds like something you'll really enjoy. I'm very proud of you for going forward with this! I know you'll be great. :)

Random: After looking at the title of this entry all I can think about is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone where they have their first flying lesson. Heh heh. :)
