Ahh. I actually like the other one better, but people like that one more. :/ I guess it's nice. XD;; I just put a gradient on it and submitted. It's funny how the icons with the least work win. *sigh*

I have to say that I ADORE what you did to the icons for the theme "Seeing Double" at tantei_stills. Yes, that Shinichi and Heiji pair... So much style and coolness. Man, if you could only make a tutorial.. =P

For those icons, I just coloured them and might've merged the layers, duplicated the base and set it on Soft Light/Overlay? Then merged all again, took a selection of their eyes, copied it and dragged to the bottom, and then desaturated? And then added the brushes and text. I don't think I can make a tutorial for those icons. XD; Relatively simple, I think :3 The trouble is finding a good image, I think. :D

Ah, I re-read my reply to you, and I said "I think" a lot. *loser* Okay. If you look at the icons really carefully, you can see that I only coloured the skin, really. And their hats. I have a tutorial somewhere here for colouring manga images. The background was like that already when I coloured it, so that's all. X33;;

Thanks XD; I don't really think myself that great of an iconmaker compared to the rest of LJ, but I really appreciate your compliments. :33 They do a lot for my ego. ♥
