Hopefully the blood tests will give you more information.

You may have to force-feed him. It's not fun, and it usually takes two sets of hands (the voice of experience here), but it will make sure that he stays fed and hydrated so liver damage doesn't set in. The vet should give you instructions and special food that stinks to high heaven but is easily fed via syringe.

Good luck and I hope he gets better soon!

And I was just thinking--my cats have bad allergies, and Jacob had asthma as a kitten. The pollen counts are REALLY high and that might explain the congestion but no fever. If that's the case, talk to your vet about treatments. Remember: cats will only eat what they can smell, and if his nose is stuffed up, he may not eat.

I can only hope that is the issue. He's not had any allergies before but who knows.

I'll be taking a long lunch. Run home and force some water on him. If I can, I'll swing by Petsmart and pick up some KMR for him.

Is he still all wobbly and won't eat?
