There's a considerable difference between actual friends and those people that you just hang out with.

Don't let facebook fool you. I can count my friends here on about one and a half hands. If that.

It took me a while to realize that people can care about you, and at the same time more often than not not be there for you.

Oh trust me I know that. My real life friend's list just recently got a lot smaller and my acquaintences got a lot larger. It sucks to find out that people you consider friends aren't, but it helps to know who I can depend on.
