Luciano smiled at him. Sebastián smiled back, a little confused, because it was a completely honest question.

And because Luciano had been acting weird about the whole thing, and Sebastián had given up trying to figure out if he was pleased or frustrated or just amused by the whole thing. Or if he was trying to flirt. All he knew was that he was there for political reasons - even if he was a little lost about what those reasons actually were - and his boss had told him to be diplomatic, which was weird too, because he didn’t need to be told that. So what the hell?

And anyway, watching the opening ceremony for a place built especially for kissing was surreal enough without having to worry about all that

Martín made a point of telling Luciano he didn’t care if he came or not, that he’d probably be too busy to notice him and anyway he knew he was busy too - he hadn’t planned to say this part, but now it was too late - so he would understand his absence, really. And the only problem with that was that Luciano himself would miss him and regret it forever, but by then Luciano wasn’t listening anymore.

He was obviously doing something else. Maybe packing, or maybe playing solitaire, who knew. Or maybe he was really busy. He informed Martín he’d make a quick visit just to give him a hug and then he’d come back, probably on the same day if he could find the right flight, so Martín should be grateful, and then he started to talk to someone else, and hang up without saying goodbye

Como São Paulo é um estado brasileiro, a primeira coisa que ele pensa quando vê um poço dos desejos é na grana que daria se alguém pulasse lá dentro pra pegar as moedas que o pessoal joga. Mas pelo menos ele nunca tentou mesmo pegar - diferente de certos estados que seriam bem capazes de tirar o sapato e entrar com tudo, dessa forma matando a todos de vergonha - e fica só imaginando mesmo
