"Chaltier is the buttmonkey of the Swordian Team, partially because of his own antics but also because Harold ordained it to be. The two both keep themselves in high regards, leaving the one with more authority, Harold, to constantly step on the major's toes. Chaltier constantly tries to prove his worth, partially by making himself out to be hot pooey, and Harold is always there to humble him. Whether or not they actually get along is a good question, as Chaltier is obligated to be nice to Harold, and Harold often views other people as potential guinea pigs. Presumably, as two people involved in the Ae'ther Wars as well as the Swordian Project, they're not mortal enemies, but no great love here.
