I missed Gerbert fics like this so much
and this one is like a combination of the greatest ones I've read
because you hit every point and I love that
And to think I almost wasn't going to read it because of the way it's written
(I don't like the whole 'you are this person' sort of deal)
But I read it, obviously
and now I'm in love with it.

I'm so enthused by the fact that you read it, despite not liking this type of construction. I'm not a huge fan of it myself (I changed it completely to third person in the middle, then changed it back), but I wanted the reader and Bert to be the same person, almost.

I love fics that paint a simple relationship between the two of them, before all of the hurt. Thank you for reading it, and thank you for loving it. This is my first slash in over 3 years. With a response like this, there's defintely more to come.

It really was great
I miss Gerbert so much and my little alien!fic does not count.
This is the kind of Gerbert stories that I miss

And now that I think about it, I'm really happy you wrote it the way you did because it's already so much in Bert's head that it's good to put the reader as Bert

Haha, I attempted to read your alien!fic a while ago, but I was way too tired to comprehend it. Good luck with it, though. There aren't enough Gerbert shippers out there.

Yay, I'm so glad that you got it. That's exactly what I wanted to do! Bert is falling in love, but I didn't want to actually say "Bert loves Gerard".
