I just realized that *yesterday* was my grandma's birthday. I've never not called her on her birthday, but usually I have a little familial assistance in remembering the date.

So... now what?

Any brilliant ideas for how I can make it up to her today?

Does she live nearby? Pay her a visit and bring her a flowering potted plant or something. If she's not within visiting distance, still send her a care package.

In my experience, grandmas love attention and are forgiving on what day it actually happens on. Mine are very understanding, which is good since I am cuurently two months late on sending one of mine her birthday present (I keep forgetting to bring it with me to work so I can mail it on lunch break).
