Because it's going around like a virus- comment here and darling Bertie will tell you what precisely he thinks of your characters. Or rather, I will. But, you know.
Hmm. Not many. He did appreciate that he took the time to puzzle out Bertie's rant about Stiffy Byng and the cow creamer and all that. He seems reasonable, at any rate, and not disposed to think Bertie a loony because of his rather idiosyncratic speech patterns.
River: Bertie is ever so glad to be River's Bertie-bird, he really is. He's a friendly sort of bloke at all times, Bertie, but he really likes River more unreservedly than he likes most anyone. He finds her highly amusing, and she really brings out all sorts of things in him that he didn't know were there- a really protective big-brotherliness, and a desire to learn things, to find things out. He loves her way of speaking, even if he does find it dashed confusing at times. He also does worry about her a bit, what with her occasional psychotic episodes, etc. and so on. The way he sees it, she's a corking young filly who deserves better than that, and he hates that she has to deal with it. He's glad that she has the Master with his drums to help her, though.
Also, he is so looking forward to her visit. A girl he can actually talk to, and who doesn't have any designs on marrying him! It's fantastic!
Simon: Bertie's view of Simon is highly coloured by his friendship with River and the Master, since he heard about Simon through them
( ... )
Quite a bit, actually, regarding Bertie. He's been quite chummy with the Master, as you may or may not have noticed. A bit ago, the Master biffed over to Bertie's flat for cocktails, and ended up seducing him. So if Jeeves happens to notice a bottle of purple Argolin brandy from the 80th Century sitting about in the liquor cabinet, that's where that's from.
There's a virus coming up- the Tied-Up Virus, where (and I've not quite worked it out with the mun, but I think) Bertie will wake up having worldhopped and tied to Philomel St. James. They'll be stuck together for a week.
Hmm, otherwise? There looks to be a bit more rl'ing happening soon, as I've been talking with Fell and Gidget, and the Master is planning to bring River and Simon to Bertie's world. Bertie will then take them out dancing, and a jolly time will be had by all. In between, you know, awkwardness and snarking and psychosis.
