I no longer am the master of my apartment. The cat I am cat-sitting is. He goes from curled up on my kitchen counter while I'm awake to rampaging through my bedroom while I attempt to sleep. It's like being stalked by a very playful psychopath.

Hell, I love this... this cat is hilarious. It's good times. Still kinda eerie though to be trying to sleep and all of a sudden feel this presence two inches away from your face... and there's this face there, peering at you.

Try sleeping with Lindsay every night....similar feeling.

Actually years ago my old roomates had 2 cats. They were sweet...really weird and they switched personalities half way through our time together. 1 was cuddly and the other was anti social....at random they switched....it was really weird.
Anyway they used to sleep in bed with either of us (they changed from night to night)...it seemed when they were in my bed they would get a sudden urge to case eachother around (under my covers) in the middle of the night.

very bizzare

My cats don't do that. When I sleep, Daisy sleeps. Unless it's morning, and then she's far more interested in my window than she is in me. Tigger just kinda sleeps at my feet... Usually taking up way more than his share of the bed. Unless it's morning, and then he's far more interested in Daisy's interest in the window than he is in me. Or food, if he hasn't been fed yet.

...to rampaging through my bedroom while I attempt to sleep.

The trick is to not be asleep when they're in crazy mode. Our cats, you can set your clock by it: 11 o'clock every night. It's weird. They run from room to room, and then, if they notice you looking at them, stop dead in their tracks and slink away. Or pounce on the other. Whichever seems more fun at the time, I think. Lasts for about half an hour or so, and then they wear themselves out and come looking for some company. It's absolutely hilarious to watch though, especially because Tigger is usually so... lazy during the day, and then 11 o'clock comes around and all of a sudden he's crazy.

You and jadedofmara should go get a room or something.
