Oh, yummy! I love 19th C. lit, and it's so much fun to watch you putting Jack and Daniel through their paces in a Gothic romance setting. Love the dashing rogue/innocent-yet-spirited virgin trope you've got going, enjoying the language, and particularly liking the sparks of real emotion you strike from within the set piece. You've got me wishing I could live with these incarnations of the characters for an entire novel.

Will you be continuing past pt 4, or is that the true end?

And as well as the upcoming part 3, I do have a part 5 in my head because the Jack POV one was so sad. We need to have a little hope, right?
