i always draw without any exemples near the eyes because i think that it's the best way to know if i've really noticed (and if i really remember) all the details of the hairstyle, face and body shapes of the character while watching the anime or reading the books.
So it can't look exactly like the original one but still, i try and try and try again and i'll never give up until i'll do it perfectly :)
my scanner is broken so the quality is not great, (i've taken the pic with a camera) so the shadows don't look the same than on the paper.
