My misery loves company

Was planning to make a very cheerful post about Open and Shut this weekend, because I really liked the episode (drama/fights ftw), but shit happened and now I'm all sad and depressed and drained.

So, since I'm not a big sharer of my very pathetic and boring personal life, I went for a sad!Wilson picspam instead. Idk, it's therapeutic for me ( Read more... )

Ohh Wilson looks good all the time. I love the 6th one up from the bottom. Where's that from?

Hope you'll be feeling better. :)

The one where he's looking up? That's from Wilson's Heart, his little scene with Cameron, no talking, just music.

Thanks hun, I'm feeling a bit better now.

As much as I love the Wilson-House dynamic, I think the best scenes ever in this entire show are two scenes from Wilson's Heart:

1. When he is in the office with Cuddy (I see Wilson and Cuddy as have an adult sibling like relationship. Supportive and caring and occasionally at odds, but never sexual). When he breaks down in her office and turns to her, and she briefly holds him, they both do that perfectly.

2. The scene when he comes home after Ambers's death and lays down on the bed. You can feel the misery coming off him in waves through the tv screen.

BTW, I think it is common - and perhaps helpful - to allow your own emotions to find an outlet through tv or books or movies or songs or whatever. It channels the feeling and helps get them out of your brain in the same way a good cry can.

Feel better!

I know, those two scenes were amazing. The first time I watched Wilson's Heart, I remember it was the second scene you mentioned that finally broke me and I cried like a baby.

The Wilson/Cuddy scene is in his office, btw, but it looks different somehow. And I see what you mean about the Wilson/Cuddy relationship, it does feel a bit that way, like a sibling relationship.
I really like their friendship, since last season, those scenes with Wilson and Cuddy together are the very few where I like Cuddy these days.

Thanks for the support.
