In the study of Shamanism and Totem-ism, animals are shown as symbolic representations of spirit, self, character, and messengers. I've taken this philosophy into my life and tried to determine what my totems are. I'm still trying to build my "totem pole" as it were. I have almost all of them sorted out, but there's still one that eludes me. I'll find it at some point, though.
What I've got now is... dragon (eastern), wolf, bumblebee, skunk, bat, frog, and... something else.
I plan to do a more in-depth analysis soon... but you know how crazy life is right now! ^__^;;
