[X]How you heard about us: I was looking through one of your member's user info and saw the banner for this community. Me being nosy, I checked it out, and it was actually interesting unlike EVERY other community i've looked to join like this.

~ My cellphone - I have an unhealthy addiction to speaking with my boyfriend nightly and text messaging back and forth during the day.
~ The internet - I honestly don't know what I would do without live journal or instant messengers.
~ Shoes - I swear I buy at least two pairs a week. It's rediculous. I really just heart shoes.
~ Celebrity Gossip - Okay really lame, I know. I just like to keep up on what's going on
~ Fox News - It's my number one news source and I feel empty inside without my daily dose of Shepard Smith.
~ Music - It's what drives me, I always have to have music playing. I love everything besides Rap and R&B.
~ Sci-Fi - Yes...i'm a nerd. I love star wars, I admit it and i'm proud of it.
~ My pillow - it's so floofy and made for people who sleep on their tummy's. Ever since I got it, I can't sleep without it.
~ Shopping - It's what I do if i'm depressed. It just makes me feel so much better.

+ Common Sense! I cannot stress this enough. I could never stand to be around someone who has no common sense. It drives me insane.
+ Intelligence. I enjoy intelligent conversations, not screaming matches. I get bored with a person if they cannot communicate intelligently.
+ Sense of humor. I know. So cliche. But it's true, I need to be able to laugh with someone.

~: Oh christ, this question is a tough one. There's so many different aspects and fields to look into, and each has it's shining star. Since I enjoy politics I think i'm going to go with John Locke. His most famous work An Essay Concerning Human Understanding is absolutely amazing. He was considered the first empiricist. Just an absolutely brilliant man. Benjamin Franklin actucally consulted his work often. Without him democracy wouldn't exist. At least not in the sense that it does today.
OPINIONS ON...
[X]War: Always will be around. It's horrible, and no one should have to go through it, but it will always be there, it always has been.
[X]Abortion: I personally would never get one, it's not something I agree with. But I believe it's ultimately each woman's choice.
[X]Iraq: A very touchy situation, although I believe it was necessary. I'm for the war in all honesty, but my heart breaks each time I hear on the news we lost another soldier, or another Marine.
[X]Death Penalty: I'm for the death penalty. Hands down.
[X]Religion: I won't discriminate against anyone's religion, and I would expect the same courtesy.
[X]Euthanasia (animal and human): I do believe it should be legalized. Putting someone out of their misery seems a lot more humane than making them suffer
[X]Gay Marriage: Against. it just doesn't sit right with me. I'm not anti-gay, though, not in the least.
