Eighteenth Assignment

I managed to save most of the things I found in Spero, though I'm wondering if I didn't just save a lot of unnecessary things. I copied what I could from the books I couldn't take, and tried to make a detailed diagram of the machine. I'm not a researcher nor an alchemist so I'm not really sure what I got. I've tried to organize and categorize

A telescope. Never used one but they're familiar enough that it shouldn't be too difficult to solve for.

Wonderful, if you wish to look over the documents all are located in the city library. Though, I can't let them leave the building.

I couldn't make much sense of it, so I copied down everything I possibly could, just in case.

It would seem to be a device designed to peer not just into the heavens, but other leylines of reality as well.

The first group to go there got some information on that. That's about all I really know about it. I was hoping that if I got as much detail about it, perhaps we could use that information to find a way home.
