More lovely January weather in Vancouver

Things were pretty calm this morning (winds around 20 km/h), but looking outside it appears to be a tad windy. Checking out The Weather Network, we currently have a westerly wind at about 78 km/h, with gusts up to 98 km/h. Oh good, another storm ( Read more... )

Yeah, there's a decent-sized tear in our inflatable stadium roof (at BC Place). They have a replacement panel already here, but now they've found a few smaller tears in some other panels and want to replace those while they're at it - so that's the main cause of the delay, though I imagine the weather isn't helping them at all.

On the day the hole in the roof arrived, the weather wasn't actually that bad.
