Does anyone know anyway to get REALLY good deals on hotels? Really I don't care about quality but at this point we really can't even afford a Best Western. But Alex wants me to find one anyways since he is probably going to have to be out of town for my spring break. That way we can have at least one night the first day I get into town

I've yet to find a great deal using those travel sites. It's always cheaper (money wise, I suppose not time wise) to book everything seperately, at least for me.

I don't usually recommend these sites because things tend to go wrong at check-in, but check out http://www.hotwire.com/. The only catch with this site is you don't know exactly what hotel you're getting until you book. You choose the general area, and what features you want (pool, restaurant, that sorta thing) and then after you book, it tells you what hotel it is. But they're usually very decent hotels at very decent prices (usually). If you do book on this website (or any other), always confirm and reconfirm with the hotel before going.
