The concert was pretty great, even considering the obnoxious nerdboys I wanted to strangle because they kept doing obnoxious LOOK HOW MUCH I KNOW ABOUT YOU yelling and being neckbeards. We even survived getting Very Lost beforehand and still made it on time! Sasquatch gave the jackal a burger for that one

We really, really did! Derrick had an even better time, I think. It also led to this amusing (to me anyway) exchange.

Him: I'm glad I went with you. It would have been weird sitting at that table with a group of guys.

Me: Not if it was guys from math class.

Luckily, the four other folks at our table were pretty awesome, self-aware and definitely Our People. We somehow ended up at the cute nerd couple table and there was good conversation before the show and no obnoxiousness during. Can't really say that for the rest of the room, though.

It reminded me a lot of the old Fruhead crowd but... I'm not sure if I'm looking at it from nearly ten years of rose-tinting and perspective or if they really are that much more annoying.
