Dramatis Personae

I picked up my last check at Subway today. Dave seemed to feel really contrite about firing me. He even said that I could come back to work for him again during my winter break. I'm pretty sure I don't want to give him the chance to fire me again, though. When I tried to return "Baldur's Gate II" to him, which he had lended me, he insisted I keep ( Read more... )

Baldur's Gate II! You must realize the awesomeness of any game in which the main villain is voiced by David Warner.

Well this is "Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal", so I don't think David Warner does a voice. I wish! The cast does read like a Voiceover Actor Hall of Fame, though.

The only thing is, I've been so busy this summer I haven't even had the chance to open it, much less play it.

Wait... so Leonard has a wife AND a fiancee?

Other than that bit of confusion, your posts about Brick by Brickmake me interminably giddy!
Bowler hat, eyepatch AND vanity cane?
Why do I feel you would cast yourself in this role...

I know it's confusing, but I wanted to write the character summaries without revealing majot plot points. The fact is, Lenore is dead. Leonard is the only one who can see, hear, and interact with her spirit. That is, until Raven comes along.

After Lenore died, Rowena rushed Leonard into an engagement and he's been putting off the wedding ever since.

Hehe, I figured she was dead. Why else would he have a large portrait of hers hanging on the wall? (I'm assuming here that he has a large portrait of hers hanging on the wall...)

How did you know that? Did I mention it to you before? Lucky guess, I suppose. It is pretty cliche. In this case, however, it's a reference to Poe's "The Oval Portrait".

Fabulous work. I can't wait to see the costumes - and see Salsafette do away with her greatest pet peeve.

I've actually come really far along with the libretto. I'm done with Act 1 and the first half of Act 2 but I don't want to post anything until it is complete.

And yes, Salsafette does indulge her predilection for nudity.
