It's not real, it's not real-His kids were upstairs asleep. He'd been leaving them with a nanny lately as he'd started working. What with the influential "Cobb Securities" back in business, business had been booming ( Read more... )

"Obviously I should have knocked first." Arthur says from the doorway, hands in his pockets. "Everything all right in here?"

The answer to that question appears fairly obvious (ie.- no, everything is not all right), but Arthur will ask just for the sake of politeness.

Mania is generally characterized by a distinct period of an elevated, expansive, or irritable mood state. People commonly experience an increase in energy and a decreased need for sleep.

Surprisingly Dom's drawings progress to the more abnormal the further Arthur might walk into the room. There's a very orderly section that's labeled-level a, level b, level c-

"...I'm just..."

Dom swallowed, "...Just experimenting you know?"

There is a drawing of a cat with spikes coming out of it nearby. It seems to be the only normal drawing there.

The drawing of the cat garners a raised eyebrow, but no comment. If Arthur wasn't concerned about Cobb's sanity by now, the combination of the cat and the disturbingly abstract designs surrounding it would have made him start worrying.

"Did you have anything concrete yet, or are you still working?" he asks, flipping idly through a nearby stack of papers.

By way of response he passes Arthur a sketchbook. No horrors, simply detailed designs of the interior of a casino, the interior of a jungle, the interior of a Eurasian fortress...

A person's speech may be pressured, with thoughts experienced as racing. Attention span is low and a person in a manic state may be easily distracted

"The specifics are still up in the air-I'm meeting with the client tomorrow if you want to come along-but I figured it's Tony Stark." His laughter is light, the laugh of a child, "...So a casino'd be a good place to start. I know he owns at least one of them in Vegas."

He finishes a line on a charcoal drawing of a large cathedral with massive stained glass windows.

Judgment may become impaired; sufferers may go on spending sprees or engage in behavior that is quite abnormal for them.

"I was afraid to come down here. I think handing you guys a job was the right idea. I feel better doing this again."
