Harry adopted his feminine stance and a disturbing smile I assume was one of coy flirtation, "Oh hello."

Very convincing!

"Zone three," I mumbled.

"Why are you telling me the tube zone?" Harry broke character to scold me.

*snorts*

"I can't do role play, I'm too literal...and realistic. I have realistic fantasies. Last night, I dreamed I was waiting for the Knight bus and it was late and nobody waiting at the bus stop with me looked at or spoke to each other."

He is my soul mate!

"Me! Why won't you tell me where you live or what you do? I really fancied you!"

Oh, they deserve each other!!

You see socks come in two varieties, ones my mum makes for me and ones people buy for me as gifts, and gift socks are so judgemental. They really are. They are a judgement on who the person giving them to you thinks you are.

This year's PLATE REMOVAL!!

I shrugged, he was talking to me in that old married couple way of his again. I made the mistake of going to the supermarket with him once and he kept picking up things he knows I like and ( ... )

This story is made of awesome. I love the voice you've given Ron here, and you've managed to make him both the narrator and oblivious to harry's interest (without keeping the reader oblivious) very well. : )

Ron is so easy to make oblivious, it comes naturally to him *lol*

I loved this, the way you kept it flowing with dialogue and Ron's interior monologue. And I can picture a 'Ron life' like this, Harry still trying to be the best friend ever, and the sock thing made a weirdly perfect sense. The last scene was terrific, too; like how you left it hanging.

I did wonder if I was going totally the wrong way with it by having it be so deeply Ron centric. I know I'm always Ron centric but thiis was literally from the centre of Ron *lol*

But see, that's what made it so good--while I was reading this, I actually felt like I was Ron, and that's about as 'centric' as you can get.
