I am officially back in the South again as I weathered my first hurricane in a long, long time alst night. Dennis hit us hard with strong winds, lots of water, and a lot of flooding. Mmkay, so the move was insane. We left Missouri and were just humming right along until our moving truck decided it no longer wanted to accelerate uphill. Since we were on the interstate, this was a huge problem. We couldn't get above thirty five, which is illegal as hell. This is the last post here for while, I am packing up the computer today, we are in the process of loading things now. Tonight I found out that my cousin Anita had lost her battle with lupus and passed away at the age of 38. Her body couldn't take the riddling disease any longer, her kidneys had shut down, and there were no donors to be found. Had they even found a donor she would have been far to weak to withstand the grueling transplant surgery ( Read more... )

I forgot to say that I took the kiddos to go and see Star Wars Epsiode Three on Saturday this past weekend and if the tickets had been twenty bucks a pop it would have been worth it to see this movie which far surpassed all of the others in my mind.

It rocked my socks. :)
