Hey, Carol. So, uh...

... Okay, so I realize this is the worst second date suggestion ever and you would be well within your rights to never want to go out with me ever ever again, but ... Norman Osborn has just invited me -- Peter Parker, I mean -- to his New Year's bash. The invite has a plus one.

[Talking faster.] So I was thinking, well, any gig of Norman's is going to be made up of people who (a) know his Gobbyness and (b) somehow tolerate him enough to attend one of his parties, and who exactly those people are is worthwhile information to have. And you're the only person I know who I know can take anything Norman should see fit to throw, and is someone in Peter Parker's social circle...
