 [Do you know what happens when a dragon riding, Viking girl wakes up in a strange house? A great deal of momentary panic and flailing before she jumps out of bed  and is in fight mode. With no weapons or the like nearby, when she reaches the kitchen she finds a knife and frying pan.

Well, hey, these will do just  fine.

[Sophie is quite used to young ladies who wield frying pans at this point. She pauses in her walk and looks at the anxious looking Astrid.]

Is everything alright, miss?

[Spinning around, Astrid raises her frying pan before thinking slightly better of it. Her grips tight on the handles of both objects before she shoots out.]

I forged it a few weeks ago. I find it unwise to be without a weapon in this town.

...Why did they keep calling the newbies squares? Didn't seem so square to her, but then again she wasn't very well-versed in fifties slang.

[When she opens the doors she pauses and blinks.]

Ah, you're...[re-reads the note again before making a face and stuffing it back into her pockets] Astrid-san, right? I'm Miku Hatsune, [twirl] virtual diva!

[Deadpanning all over. Sorry, Miku.]

Astrid. Just Astrid. Am I supposed to know whatever this "virtual diva" thing is?
