Subconscience? You're Fired
I have to write this down before it's completely gone. Putting it behind a cut since some of it could be (very) slightly spoilery.
I don't remember a lot of it, but the cast of characters included Tony/RDJ. Definitely Iron Man related, but I was aware of the movie .. kind of a mixed reality, I guess.
Anyway, there was much driving around the country in a dark SUV. Tony was always in the back seat, I think. Pepper might have been there, and maybe Rhodey and Happy. And, y'know, Jon may have been there too .. and might have been working on the next script.
I don't remember much until Tony found Steve. I think Tony was in the suit. Steve was, like, lying in sand. Tony reached down and turned his head ... toward the camera (it was like watching it on a big screen). I said (to I don't know who) "There's Steve" like I figured they didn't know what was happening but would know that Steve=Cap.
Next thing I know, Steve is getting in the SUV with us. And he's kinda short with close-cropped dark hair that was thinning on top. I was taken aback by his appearance and commented (to someone) that he didn't look like Steve (so there we're back to my differentiating between movie and reality again). Then I got to thinking and rationalized it: RDJ has brown eyes, therefore Steve can look totally different.
So, I'm in the front passenger seat right up against the door, Tony's behind the driver (maybe Happy), Steve's behind me, and someone (maybe Phil) is between them. We pull up into a big fairgrounds-like place (lots of buildings) and park next to what appears to be one of the oldest structures. I know it's an aquarium, and I know why we're there.
Suddenly, my dream switches to big screen mode, and I'm watching Steve (looking an awful lot like Flash Gordon) being eaten by what might be a giant oyster thing. That's his backstory in this universe, though I seem to recall thinking that Jon was really changing the story with that idea.
As we all got out to go show Steve what had happened to him -- and to let him get his bearings, as he would know the aquarium building but none of the other buildings since they hadn't been there when he'd been there -- we piled everything in the back of the SUV. I was worried about someone breaking in and stealing my computer bag, so I put it under a blanket in the back .. and noticed someone had kindly covered up my dog crate.
And then I woke up.
See? I had to write that down.
