Aren't we lucky you didn't lose your verbosity as well.

And aren't we all so lucky you haven't lost your deadpan disposition. For your information, without verbosity, where would English literature be?

...nice to hear from you again, Aldous.

Actually, wouldn't that be for YOUR information since you asked the question?

Isn't it?

Goodness, I am simply surrounded by men who like to make little snippy comments at each other.

It's really rather amusing, come to that.

Rabastan, you cut your hair? I'm furious with you. Absolutely furious. I am never speaking to you again, you awful man. Never again. I cannot believe you'd cut all your hair so short. It was very nice long. Never speaking to you again.

Oh! Antonin just reminded me, I'm not sure if you know already...so I'll tell you just in case! I'm getting married again. It's terribly exciting, I'm engaged to Aldous.

Are you? How lovely. I'm sure you'll be terribly happy. And good on you, Aldous.
If I'm not invited, I'm going to have to be terribly offended.

I'm deeply sorry. Mother-in-laws, what a horror.

Thank you. Invited, yes. I'm sure we're all waiting desperately to see how you come up with an even better wedding gift than the one you've only just given my future wife.

Oh, I'm sure I'll think of something. Giving things and generally doting upon your fiancée seemed to be the only way I could figure out how to interact with her. Honestly, Aldous, what's your secret?
