Amanda's still in the hospital. Alexander is still on 25% oxygen (they tried earlier to put him to normal air, but that didn't work out - he is a month premature after all

When David was born 10 weeks prematurely in Ogdensburg, NY he also racked up a giant hospital bill not covered by our scanty insurance. We got him on a high-risk babies program that absorbed all of his greater than $100,000 bill but about $3000.
Talk to social services (there's probably a contact person in the hospital) and see if there is some help available. Troubles with birthing often has special funding--must protect the mommies and the next generation, neh?

Prematurity must run in the family B.J. She didn't get her dual citizenship? Look for any loopholes that you can find to get that bill paid. Yay for babies.
