A genuine question.

What is a "rock lobster"? I, for one, thought it was merely a B-52's song. But now, a commercial for some seafood restaurant has me believing that "rock lobster" is also a particular type of lobster.

Another question: does the fact that a "rock lobster" is a thing that exists in nature make said B-52's song more or less stupid? I have NO idea

When I turned on the radio today, rock lobster was on. Whoa. I thought of you, but no, I do not know anything about seafood or its relation to tunes.

I bet if we did a study, it would be made clear that the commercials that mention "rock lobster" have increased the song "rock lobster"'s radio plays.

When Cool Whip took the tunes from the song "Cool Jerk" and changed the jerk to whip, I believe they probably made millions. Besides, who would buy Reddi Whip when Cool Whip has such a rockin' song?
