Leah was sitting at the end of the cliff, looking down at the water as the boys were horse playing below, smiling to herself.
Jacob was hesitantly standing behind her in wolf form for he had just ran from the bottom to jump again, but when he saw Leah there, peaceful, he didn’t want to bother her.
“You might as well change” Leah comment for she could smell him as she leaned back on her hands. “You reek of wet dog.”
He snorted at her, but then changed, ducking for a moment behind the trees to put on his dampen shorts. “You jumping?” he asked when he moved from the covered area up to her.
She looked up at him; her eyes couldn’t help raking over his muscled chest. “I might, but kind of enjoying the quiet.”
With a shift movement he was sitting by her, “Been busy lately huh?” he asked.
There was nod of her head, “Yep, but it’s almost over so…it will be over.”
“We can go away for a bit when it’s over if you want.” Jacob offered.
Leah looked at him, her expressed was shocked since she’s caught of guard by the suggestion. “He is getting married, they will be here when we get back, and I’ll live. Plus not like I mean anything anymore, you know,” she shrugged her shoulders.
“Leah…” his hand was on her arm and then moved to her face, which shocked both of them, “You don’t mean that, you know he cares, you know we all do.”
She swatted his hand away and scoffed, “Yeah yeah I know, its fine.”
With a smug look, Jacob leaned in to her, playing, mainly to get her out of this mood “you sure are.”
Not impressed she shot him a glare as she punched his arm, “Go jump off a cliff,” she retorted.
He grimaced to the hit and moved to stand, “yes, ma’am,” He then snatched her arm, pulling her up. “And you are coming with me.”
“Let go you big buffoon,” she huffed as she scrambled to get to her feet and pulled her arm away from him.
Jacob towered over Leah laughing, he smiled as he leaned down quickly her pecked her lips and then took off running, diving off the cliff.
Stunned she stood there, her hand touched her lips, “What the hell…” that was certainly a discovery she had never anticipated on. “I am going to kick his ass,” she growled as she leap off the cliff.
