- i have not made a cake in far too long. this needs to be rectified, soon.
- lemon risotto is super good. it is regular risotto that you have put lemon juice and lemon zest into to make even more delicious. i would vary the amount of lemon inversely with how much is being served, though, and i prefer slightly less parmesan than usual. this is fantastic with roast chicken, and is probably also delicious with various dry-heat fish preparations.
- the newish chef at my cafeteria at work has been putting out some surprisingly good food lately, but only on wednesdays. today was pork osso buco with green olive gremolata atop a moroccan couscous that i actually liked, and more surprisingly all worked in combination. i will probably attempt to make this at home.
