my work has it too. it is basically the end of productivity once they start it up, because the conference room is very poorly soundproofed.

after lunch yesterday i was wondering what the hell this tapping was from the lounge area... it was the drums. i am doomed.

Ooooh. We got rock band. It had to move to an area far from anyone actually doing work. Right now it's in its own little enclosed office.

I was expecting the doom to be a drop in productivity due to *playing* rock band but I should have guessed since shumashi had a similar doom recently.

oh no, the doom is definitely from me spending my working hours playing and not...you know, working.

the problem with the noise is that, well, when i hear it i'll want to go play too.
