i have a new theory of exercise.

regular exercise is designed to build up immunity to heart attacks by regularly making you feel like you're having a heart attack.

if it makes you feel bad instead of good, you're doing it wrong. :)

Yeah, start w/ short times and/or less intense. Otherwise you hate the feeling and don't want to do it tomorrow. I've seen this happen.

That said, kudos for trying something. I hope to see more posts on this topic. :-)

oh yeah, i just remembered that that feeling you describe is *exactly* why i used to hate running. in fact, i probably still do except that i can't tell because i don't run. :-)

but what i was really going to say was that exercise is a lot more fun if you've had some caffeine. :-)

i am trying to cut caffeine from my diet.

running though is actually pretty fine. it is more of a haven't-done-it-in-8-months kind of thing.
