Advent Calendar: Day 6: Alex Kingston Family Video
This is an especial treat for anyone who enjoys River Song as played by Alex Kingston.
This is an episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?" a genealogy series that explores famous people's family trees.
I'm not normally interested in genealogy, But I found this absolutely riveting. It was amazing watching Alex learn about her ancestry. And it may even explain a little bit about where she finds River Song.
This video is an hour long, so if you don't have time to watch it all at once, I suggest watching it in halves. The first half explores her great-grandfather, who died in World War I, the second half explores her great-great-great-great-grandmother, who lived in the 1800's.
All I can say, is that this video makes me love Alex Kingston even more. And it sheds an interesting light on the actress who gives us River Song.
