This is late and probably nothing like you were thinking about when you gave me the prompt "Al, Scorpius, and vanilla scented candles" but it's what fell out of me head anyway! XD I'm kind of freaked out by how obsessive Al is here. o_O

Even if it's creepy how obsessive Al is, I like this because it's not all rainbows and butterflies, which I'm sure sounds really weird - but I like the realism in what you have.

lol, normally when I think vanilla candles I think about romance and sex and whatever. I figured that was what you were looking for from that prompt... just a sweet romantic ficlet. So that was how I started, from the idea that Al was going to seduce Scorpius. But then my brain decided that was too normal and it went alsdfjh crazy on me. XDDD

And I love creepy stuff. I usually don't write it because it's hard to maintain a creepy atmosphere, but I love to read it. XDD

I sometimes think about that, but then I've always had an interest in Wicca, so I also think of candles for spell work (also, vanilla is said to be an aphrodisiac).

I adore creepiness, but while it is a pain to write, it's more interesting to do so - until it just becomes a pain.

XD Darkish!fic is totally fun, but I hate writing it. I really get into my characters feelings when I'm writing, so writing dark!fic or sad endings depresses me badly. XD
