*hugs* Thanks. This is, in my opinion, the worst kind of sexual abuse because you have to live with family for the rest of your life. Even something "minor" like this can irreparably harm a victim. So sad...

*hugs* Thank you. I'm sorry about her having to go through that. I don't think anyone ever comes out of abuse without some emotional trauma.

I like to hope that Fred learned something from this, since he only did it once. I hope he is disgusted with himself and hates knowing he did that to a kid. I don't know though. I can identify with someone who has been abused, but I'll never be able to identify with an abuser. =/

I'm glad you "liked" it, so to speak, and that it came across as realistic. It was a difficult piece to write, but I wanted to get the message out there. I've seen too many fics that show a child and an adult where the child is happy, and it's just not realistic. Abuse hurts. Period.

*hugs* I'm so sorry this brought back the memories for you.

And I know that if you have kids, you'll be one of the best and most protective of parents. Anyone who's been through something like that knows exactly how terrible it is and will try their best to prevent it.

*hugs harder* I'm sorry the fic hurt you, but I'm hoping it can be a message to people about why molestation is serious.
