Character Bios: Dominique

Grandpa Arthur loves watching Muggle movies on his specially outfitted television set. It's the only thing that engages his mind anymore. I like to watch the movies with him when I'm at my grandparent's house. Sometimes a quote from a movie strikes me as sounding cool, but no quote has ever fit me as much as one from an American movie, aptly titled ( Read more... )

XD I'm sorry! *duck tapes your heart back together*

I think these two are my favorite character bios just because of the contrast between them. The canon is the same, but reflected through each sister's eyes it looks incredibly different. Though maybe not... a couple of the later one's *cough*Lily*cough* are angsty and lovely. I think maybe I love them all... XD

And I'm so glad you like them! My self esteem sucks, so I'm always so happy when fabulous authors like you tell me my stuff is good! :)

James is four weeks away. DX

Molly, Lucy, and Roxanne (Percy's daughter, Percy's daughter, George's daughter) are next then James, Al, Scorpius, Rose, Louis, Lily, Hugo, and LorcanandLysander (theirs is written together as they are barely a year old at the time I set the bios, so yeah, they don't have much to talk about. XD)

And I personally don't see my characterization as asshat-ish, and neither did shina_laris, but you'll have to be the judge of that yourself. :) (I hope he doesn't come across as an asshat... I don't want to write seven books starring an asshat!!)

"Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in."

this happens to be my fave line from that movie as well, since it's something i experience all the time!

aaaaaaaaah you just broke my heart! every single character bio has been so insanely good so far that i keep getting more and more impatient for the actual stories :D

the last 2 paragraphs were especially bittersweet. and i can't even dislike victoire strongly b/c we get to see her insecurities in the bio you posted earlier so i'm all torn up :'( i just hope dominique receives admiration from someone eventually!

I've never even watched the movie. XD I found the quote online right before I went to write her bio and the whole Vicky/Teddy/Dom triangle just seemed to flow from it. That quote fully sparked her whole personality and everything. (It's a very good quote! XD)

*hides* I haven't even started the huge fics. The though of it makes me want to cry. Luckily I've got until at least August before I run out of Bios to post and have to start worrying about posting chapters... which I'm probably going to start writing within this next month, if I can find some spare time. And I'm so glad you like them. I'm such a comment whore it always makes me crazy happy to get your long responses... XD

you should watch the movie! i think you'd like it, it's pretty brilliant.

And Dom has her own eventual love interest, though she's going to go through a LOT of drama to get him. :)

drama is goooood ;)

and yes! this cactus emo is so cute. i saw it and had to snap it up right away, hee.

I'll have to put it on my (miles long) to watch list. :)

Drama is AWESOME. XD Unfortunately, most of her drama will be "off-stage", so to speak. :(

I'll probably write scenes from her perspective (and everyone else's) though, along with the one's from James's, and post them up as "extra's".

I think Dom's gender is still up in the air. Most people seem to feel she would be a girl though. I left her gender up in the air in one short fic and got the opposite of your reply. "Don't you know Dominique is a girl's name?!?!" In my universe she's a girl because I can have more fun with her that way! XD

And thanks! *hugs*
