Jim wasn't, perhaps, as worried as Wes was. For one thing, he knew all too well what it was like to feel confined, even for one's own good. But that didn't mean he thought everything was fine. He was striding purposefully down the hall, on his way to the station to see if he could learn anything, when he passed Wesley.

"You haven't seen him?" he asked abruptly, something like captain-mode and assuming given the circumstances that the man knew who he was talking about.

Since they'd spoken about Benjamin before, Wes instinctively knew who he was referring to.

"No. Although not for want of trying. I have spoken to him, however. He's due to check in with me again in two hours."

Jim nodded. "Well, that's something, anyway." It was obvious Jim cared, and was worried. "I'm not exactly sure what you're relationship is, but if there's anything I can do, I won't hesitate."
