"So this is it," Spike said, sauntering up to the bar. Sober. "Got it all fixed up, did you?"

He looked around, nodding.

"Just what this place needs. Another bar."

Spike personally thought Jo was compact and Buffy-ish but maybe she wouldn't have liked the comparison. He shrugged.

"Helps if you've got mystical powers an' all that," he admitted. "An' if you're up against someone who can't hit back."

[huntersdaughter]

"Oh. Yeah, I'm short on the mystical powers part and I am pretty sure I can hit back. Hard."

Spike was silent a moment.

"Meant me," he sad.

[huntersdaughter]

"Oh." She's a bit silent for a bit, but she smiles anyway.

"Well, clearly I was talking about myself."

[idolstolemylook]

"No, I meant..." Spike shook his head. "Never mind. Not sure what the point was, anyway. Just impressed you're lettin' riff-raff like yours truly in." He grinned.

[huntersdaughter]

Jo smirked, "I thought we already established that you're part of the tolerable riff-raff."

"Well, I won't tell if you won't," he said. "When does the wet t-shirt contest start?"

[huntersdaughter]

Shooting Spike a look, Jo's expression soured. "No wet t-shirt contest. Just drinks."

Spike raised his hands.

"Can't blame a bloke for tryin', can you?"

[huntersdaughter]

She laughed, slightly amused, "No, I can't blame you for trying. Look, if you need anything just give a shout. I'm gonna go check on some others."

Jo moved to walk away, but paused, "Try not to get into trouble."
