WHO Jessica Hamby and You WHAT Jessica was hungry, so she decided to go out wandering for someone to feed on. WHERE The streets and alleyways of the downtown area, mostly. WHEN Tonight, 9/21 WARNINGS Vampire violence, mostly
Remy wasn't really looking where she was going. It's a bad habit of hers that she really should fix, especially in this town. Never know who she might bump into, and in this case? It just so happened to be Jessica.
Her shoulder bumped Jessica's, and she looked up with a startled frown. And then more of a relaxed surprise. Bumping into pretty redheads on the street was never a bad thing in her opinion.
"Sorry," she said with a bit of a smile. "Should watch where I'm going."
Jessica had been lost in her thoughts, mostly in her need for someone to eat that even though she heard the other woman approaching, she didn't move quick enough to avoid the contact.
Still, she smiled polietly, trying to ignore how hungry she was. Usually, she preferred feeding off men, but at this rate she might need to make an exception.
Not that she revealed that. Instead, she smiled back. "It's alright. You didn't hurt me or nothin'."
"Still," she said with a nod. "I'm usually more coordinated than that."
There was another small smile, as she appraised the woman for a moment, before nodding to the street. "Well, I shouldn't keep you. Have a nice evening."
Jessica once again weighed her options. It couldn't hurt to go with the woman, even if alcohol wouldn't actually have much of an effect on her. At the very least, it could give her more time to figure out her next course of action.
She did notice, but she was starting to know better than to pry. In this town? Odds are she probably really didn't want to know. Was it safe? Not necessarily, but still -- she'd rather be ignorant for the time being.
If Remy wasn't going to ask, Jessica wasn't going to share. Not for now. With the growing prejudice she's noticed in the place, the less people who knew what she was, the better.
"It's definitely a little strange and all, but so was home." Which probably helped her adjust to here. Weird things happened in Bon Temps all the time.

She paused for a moment, debating whether she should stop the other woman or not. She was very, very hungry.
"Where are you goin', if you don't mind me askin'?"

She paused, watching her for a moment, trying to gauge what the interest was. "You could join me, if you want."

She smiled.
"Sure."
