Buffy was doing her impression of Santa Claus, with a bag of gifts for people who she knew would be there. Yes, this was probably a little public for Christmas gifts, but she figured she'd know most of everyone here, so now was as good an opportunity as any.

She also had bottle of wine that she liberated from the liquor store she spent her snow days trapped in, but that was another story entirely.

Still, red sack of presents, tiny blond Slayer, bottle of wine. Socialize at your own risk.

"I figured it was the easiest place to find everyone," she shrugged. "And being that you are the hostess, arriving without a Christmas present wouldn't have been smart."

Even if they live together and would have just seen each other after anyway.

"It's true," Cordelia replied with a grin. "It would have been an awkward thing if you had brought presents here for everyone but me."

"And we can't have that, can we?" she grinned.

She smirked a little. "We really can't."

Buffy paused, rocking on her heels a bit, before raising an eyebrow. "So? You gonna open it or not?"

Cordelia laughed and began to unwrap the box. "Alright already, I'm opening it."

Bonus of living with someone: You can see what they do and don't have in their closet. Inside the box are these shoes in Cordelia's size.

Cordelia grinned brightly. "These, are amazing!" She hugged the shoes a little closely to her chest. "Thank you!"

Buffy grinned back. "You are very welcome. Hopefully you have something to go with them."

"If I don't, it's just an excuse to go shopping. Which is like a double present," She said. She paused before grabbing a bag, handing it to Buffy. "I got you something too!"

"Oh! Yay!" Presents? This pleased Buffy. She took the bag from her with a grin, before starting to open it.

Inside? Was a nice purple cashmere scarf. "For those nights when it's cold on patrol."

That would have come in very handy during the giant blizzard they just had, but at least she had it for next time. Knowing Bete Noire, there probably will be a next time.

"Thank you!" she said with a grin, as she leaned forward to give her friend a hug. "It's so pretty!"

She smiled, hugging her friend back. "Well of course it's pretty, I picked it out. I'm glad you like it."
