[locked to Percy Weasley]Tony Stark has been reduced to a child-like state in order to preserve his mind and keep him from seriously injuring himself. I made all decisions that led to this outcome and I take full responsibility for it, as well as for him. I'd like to do so as a representative of the government, since the power of the Magistrate is ( Read more... )

I'm gonna have to ask why. As in 'why does he have to stay here instead of his ungodly huge mansion' and 'why won't he remember anyone'.

He won't remember you because he's in a doll state. He's staying here because I'm taking care of him and this is where I live.

Well. You don't have to worry about taking care of him. I think we can handle it from here. We'll see what we can do to fix him.

Quick, tiny little question, though--how the fuck did that happen?

[After the day she's had, what with almost becoming a murderer and all, she is in no mood to deal with the attitude.]

I'm sorry, perhaps I was unclear. I am his handler, and he is my responsibility. I'm not turning his care over to anyone else, and certainly not to you. There is already a we in this situation, and you're not part of it.

[laughs] I'm sorry, you're his handler? Since when did you become a member of the Dollhouse, because I'm pretty sure you're not one, and Tony isn't one of the House's dolls. Which means something seriously fucked up happened to him, and we, here, have some tech to see if we can help him so that he's not something he shouldn't even be in the first place.

Since about three hours ago. If you want details, you can ask Owen. What's happened to him is the power of the Magistrate in a body that wasn't meant to handle it. That makes this very much my business. There is already a team working on fixing his condition.

[If Dominic didn't come across as such a bag of dicks, maybe she would see the benefit in having him as part of it.]

Let me be perfectly clear. He is and will continue to be my responsibility. If you want to do anything to him, you have to go through me first, and if I can't take care of him here, then I will take him somewhere else.

[She promised Tony it would be all right. She doesn't care that he doesn't remember it. She remembers it. And Tony is getting hurt again over her dead body.]

He and I just became a package deal. Deal with it.

[Sadly for everyone, Dom does bag of dicks as default. Maybe if a certain someone had told him about this beforehand... But he's not completely insensitive (shockingly), especially when it comes to doll matters.]

Fine. If there's a "team" working on this already, and if you're steadfastly going to remain by his side, understanding fully what it means to be a handler, then by all means, bring him here. There's not going to be a better place.

If you find yourself in trouble, talk to Wes. He's pretty new to the handler business, too. Delta's personalities are also bound to help...depending on which one he is any given day. And the rest of the team here.

Speaking of teams, any chance I might know who's working on this, exactly, or do I have to ask Owen about that, too?

[Hey, at least he does bag of dicks well. No one can jackass it up like Dominic.]

Delta and Bennett are working on separating the corruption from the wedge with his mind. Doctor McCoy is in charge of his physical health, possibly working with Doctor House, though I haven't met the man yet.
